On the 18th – 20th of November the fifth Hackathon of digital Future took place in order to power up new innovations in SaaS-based technologies. Once again the participants demonstrated the enormous potential for the entrepreneurship. 14 teams, consisting of young professionals, worked on developing remarkable SaaS startup ideas. The winner is Image NC team with its smart tool to manage image and video, or more precisely for getting fast SVG formatting.
Hackathon served as a platform for young entrepreneurs to gain experience of generating, developing, and communicating new ideas and developing the growth plan for a commercial product with SaaS business model, which is the key investment focus for Digital Future. The event was a success and provided participants with valuable information. For example, among mentors there was Viktor Kompaneyets, known for his expertise in technology space and business development, who shared his knowledge with entrepreneurs to help them succeed.
Moreover, it was the unique opportunity to learn about growing business and exchange ideas with the most influential investors in Ukraine, which made up jury committee. Jury members included: Oleksii Vitchenko (Digital Future), Natasha Berezovska (Detonate Ventures), Artem Borodatyuk (Founder of Netpeak and CEO of Serpstat), Andrey Kolodyuk (AVentures), Andriy Dovzhenko (SMRK VC Fund), Max Pecherskyy (founder and CEO of PromoRepublic). The event provided valuable insights that will help the Ukrainian entrepreneurs in identifying how best to implement their business ideas.
